As you can see from the above picture, I finally lit a fire under my own butt and started the Lyra Doily. I have found the first few rows to fly by quickly and they have been somewhat easy to work. However, as I progress further into the project, I am finding it a bit more difficult to work, and sometimes have to rely more heavily on the chart as I go instead of my memory and my ability to repeat the pattern of stitches from it.I've still got a way to go, but I think it may all go smoothly. However, I may be wrong.
